Don't let menopause hold you back

HypnoMenoapuse® acknowledges the significance of menopause as a transitional phase in our life, it can work alongside other treatments, such as HRT, diet, exercise and so on. It’s also of benefit to those unable to take HRT.

Are you perimenopausal and afraid of what the future looks like?

Do hot flushes leave you feeling flustered and out of control?

Are you taking HRT but still have symptoms that hold you back?

Do you want to confidently approach this new phase of your life?

Imagine if you were in control of this natural change you are experiencing? What would that mean for you? You've had a great sleep, you feel and look great in your clothes, the only time you get your sweat on is in the gym when you've worked out. You don't forget things, you've got absolute clarity and those task lists don't leave you feeling overwhelmed.

Ladies it's time to take back control.

As a trained Menopause Wellness and HypnoMenopause® Practitioner, I provide a holistic, complementary, alternative and evidence-based approach for women who are experiencing menopausal symptoms – at whatever stage they are at in their journey. This is provided online – from the comfort of your own home. A group programme is also available and can be delivered in-person locally to Falkirk or online.

My story

I went through surgical induced menopause when I was 29 and started having subtle symptoms at first, and then they got quite brutal for a while. I had no idea why - no one mentioned menopause and there was no support. I just knew I wasn't allowed HRT and was left to get on with it. So I had to learn to do it by myself, and found hynosis, nutrition and exercise enabled me to take back control. As a senior executive I work full-time, have my part-time hypnotherapy business, and continue to learn. I'm also a mum, and a grandmother - so I get it. I know firsthand that investing in yourself is critical to making time for others. I started a menopause programme in a male-dominated industry - I own the conversation and you can too.

HypnoMenoapuse® acknowledges the significance of menopause as a transitional phase in our life, it can work alongside other treatments, such as HRT, diet, exercise and so on. It’s also of benefit to those unable to take HRT. One of my recent clients shares her experience of hypnotherapy:

"From the first session with Evie I felt a big difference in how I was coping with what life is throwing my way but also in the idea of how I was changing due to menopause and reflecting this isn’t a negative.

The hypnotherapy itself was really calming and relaxing and I was able later to use the mental toolkit Evie gave me to keep this going during stressful times.

Even when I wasn’t conscious, I was using what she had taught me it was like my subconscious remembered and wanted me to be calmer and forgiving of myself.

I’ve had a few sessions now and each one seems build more resilience and I feel genuinely more at peace with myself, like life isn’t a battlefield anymore. It’s been really life-changing for me and I’d highly recommend."

For some women, this transitional phase is characterised hot flushes and night sweats, fatigue, aches and pains, sleep problems and a range of other symptoms which make it hard to function. It's also a time when women may be struggling with life pressures and a shifting sense of their own identity. HypnoMenopause® combines hypnosis, mindfulness and CBT to help women manage their experience in a completely natural way. In clinical trials, hypnotherapy has been shown to alleviate hot flushes by up to an incredible 74%, in addition to helping mood, sleep and sexual function.

The first step in our work together is a free consultation, by phone, during which I will answer any questions you have and establish whether HypnoMenopause® is the right approach for you. Following that, you will usually have up to five sessions, during which you will work on different aspects of your experience. During a session, I will talk you into a relaxed, focused state and use a combination of guided meditations and powerful therapeutic tools including NLP, mindfulness and CBT to help you create your desired changes - you'll not only visualise your future self - you'll actively and powerfully stride towards it.

How many sessions you require will be individual to your requirements – menopause is a personal journey and one size fits no-one. Group programmes are slightly different for that reason. For individuals typically, we would expect around five sessions, and this would all be agreed up front in your initial consultation. You’re supported with resources – from recordings to workbooks and invited to join a unique virtual Menopause Café to continue to build on the network of women who are empowering confidence through change.
